Soochippara Waterfalls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfall. It is a three-tiered waterfall in Vellarimala.The waterfalls at Soochippara near Meppadi are really a treasure of nature, yet to be discovered. The stretches of waterfalls ranging at places from 100 to 300 feet height are a treat to the eyes.

This is the largest earth dam in India. Which impounds the Karamanathodu tributary of the Kabini River.The topography here is such that many islands will be formed in the upstream of the dam when the dam is full. Edakkal is the only known place in India with Stone Age carvings. These caves are located 1,200 m above the sea level on Ambukutty Hill. The cave paintings in Edakkal caves has an built of which are considered to be of 6000 B C.This location is breath-taking beauty is three kilometers from Ambalavayal which is 25 kms. from Kalpetta.

Thirunelli Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Maha Vishnu. Beneath the temple, a wild stream makes it way called Papanasini. The Temple is located at an altitude of about 900m in north Wayanad in a valley surrounded by mountains and beautiful forests. It is situated 32 km away from Manathavady.

Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad, at 2,050 m above sea level. Which has an height of 2,100 m (6,890 ft) above sea level. From the top of the peak you can see entire Wayanad. This place is an ideal destination for trekking activities. Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad.

This large Ficus tree, bound by a prominent chain is an interesting excursion, approximately 15 kms. from Kalpetta. It is believed that a priest chained the troublesome spirit onto this tree and hence name the Chain tree. Which is kept as a small temple for the Memory of Kariyanthandan.

Neelimala View Point is a frequently visited tourist destination in the district of Wayanad. 27 km from Kalpetta and 12 km from Sultha Battery. The view of Meenmutti waterfalls from Neelimala resembles like a milky way, tearing apart the intense foliage of Wayanad forests. This is another destination popularly known for trekking activities.

Lakkidi, the gateway of Wayanad, is situated 700 m above mean sea level, at the crest of the Thamaraserri ghat pass. There are 9 hairpin curves within a distance of 16 Kms.
